Dyer Police would like to extend a huge thank you to the Mulberry Police Department, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and the Crawford County Department of Emergency Management for their quick response this evening and for immediately coming to our city to assist us in searching for a missing person.
Dyer Police Department would also like to recognize the citizens of Dyer who willingly left the comfort of their homes tonight to come out and help search. They didn’t have to be asked twice, they saw a need and stepped up.
This is what makes Dyer and Crawford County such a special place. When someone needs help, our law enforcement officers, emergency personnel, and citizens come together without hesitation. That kind of community support is something you simply can’t take for granted.
To everyone who answered the call tonight thank you. Your willingness to step away from your own families and your own homes to help someone else says a lot about the kind of community we have.

🚨 DYER RESIDENTS 🚨

Please be advised DO NOT call 911 or the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department non emergency number to report a water leak.
For water leaks, water outages, or other water related issues, please contact Dyer City Hall and follow the prompts to reach the Water Department.

Dyer City Hall: 479-997-8557

Please remember that 911 is for life-threatening emergencies and situations requiring immediate emergency assistance. Calling 911 for non emergency issues, such as water leaks, can tie up emergency phone lines and potentially delay someone who is experiencing a true emergency.

The Dyer Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Pam Wells.

Pam was one of those people who could brighten a room simply by walking into it. She was always happy, friendly, and willing to share a smile or a kind word with everyone she encountered. Over the years, we have worked many calls with Pam and she always treated everyone with the same kindness and respect. Her dedication to Crawford County and the people she served will not be forgotten.

Pam was more than a public servant she was a friend to many and a familiar, welcoming face in our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Pam. Your smile, kindness, and service to our community will be deeply missed.
