🚓 INSIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT DAY with the Dyersburg Police Department! 🕵️‍♂️👮‍♂️

Yesterday, the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce Dyer County Adult Leadership Class of 2026 stepped behind the badge for an incredible, eye-opening Law Enforcement Day at the Lannom Center!

The Dyersburg Police Department rolled out the red carpet to give our class an exclusive, inside look at the massive amount of moving parts it takes to keep our community safe. From patrol services and criminal investigations to narcotics, street crimes enforcement, training, accreditation, and special operations—our leaders got to see it all.

But they didn't just sit and listen—they got hands-on with some intense, interactive breakout sessions:

🛠️ SORT Demonstrations: Checking out the specialized equipment used by the Special Operations Response Team.

🎯 FATS Simulator: Testing their split-second decision-making skills in the Fi****ms Training Simulator.

🔍 Mock Crime Scene: Putting on their detective hats to solve a mock investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigations Division!

We are so incredibly proud of this class for diving headfirst into these experiences to better understand the vital services provided to Dyer County.

A massive THANK YOU to Chief, the officers, and the entire Dyersburg Police Department team who took the time to host, teach, and keep our community safe every single day! 🙌✨
