Hillside Huskies, Let's Get Moving! Mondays are for movement at Hillside Elementary, and we want to make sure every Husky is ready to participate safely in Mileage Monday!

Families, please remember to send your students to school wearing sneakers every Monday! While Crocs, slides, and sandals might be comfortable, they aren't safe for Mileage Monday activities. We've seen too many injuries associated with these types of shoes, and we want to keep our Huskies safe and active!

A simple choice in footwear can make a BIG difference in keeping our students safe while they get moving!

Sneakers on, Huskies! Let's make every Mileage Monday a safe and successful one!

Every Friday (or the last day of the school week) is your chance to help your class earn the title of most spirited!

Plan it. Wear it. Show your spirit! Let's see that Husky pride shine, Hillside!

There’s nothing quite like bringing the farm to the classroom!

Mrs. Carpenter’s class at Hillside Elementary welcomed back Calves in the Classroom for their second visit! Jayden stopped by to share an update on Milkshake and teach students how ranchers care for their steers as they prepare them for shows.

Students wrapped up the lesson with a fun relay race, putting their new knowledge to work as they raced through the steps of a rancher’s morning routine!

What a fun, hands-on way to learn about agriculture and the hard work that goes into caring for animals!

Last Week, Mrs. Carpenter’s class had their first visit with the Eagle Point High School FFA Calves in the Classroom leader, Jayden. She taught the class that a cow isn’t always just a cow, and we got to name her steer Milkshake!

Our next visit will be October 13th, and we can't wait!
