🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

25 years later, we remember the 343 firefighters, 60 law enforcement officers, 8 EMS personnel, and thousands of innocent people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

We remember the courage of those who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the brothers and sisters who never came home.

We remember the families, friends, and communities forever changed that day.

And we remember the promise that their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Kettle Moraine Fire District honors all who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11.

This week KMFD trained on extrication, with real life scenarios. Crews were dispatched to a staged accident with a vehicle fire and put their skills to work. Palmyra Fire Rescue joined for some reps as well assisting with another vehicle and patient. Thank you to Lachance Auto for the use of some cars and your salvage lot for the evening. Great work by all let’s keep it up!!

We hope to see as many community members at the meeting tonight as possible. Ask questions, raise concerns, and learn more about your KMFD!

Tonight KMFD trained on vehicle extrication. Each group was assigned a vehicle, each with different levels of experience, some from other departments (Palmyra Fire Rescue), and they went to work.

This district was built on different folks from all walks coming together to do one thing, serve our communities. Training like these shows just how strong we are together!
