If you're planning on camping at or visiting Sylvan Lake State Park be aware we have entered Stage 1 fire restrictions as of Wednesday, June 10th! While campfires are still allowed in the fire rings at the campground, please use extra caution and take the time to review how these restrictions may affect your trip.

We are NOT automatically moving fire restrictions levels during a Red Flag Warning. Eagle County will remain in stage 1 restrictions even during a Red Flag Warning.

Looking for a new trail to hike? Check out the recent photos taken by one of our staff members on Sneve Gulch Trail. This Forest Service trail starts out by our upper cabins at Sylvan Lake, and climbs 2.2 miles one way. This is a great hike if you're looking for a workout! It's worth it for the great views of the lake, and excellent wildflowers.
