Earlier this week, an electrofishing survey was conducted to assess the fish populations in the pond. While electrofishing, an electrical current is put into the water and temporarily stuns the fish. The two people on the front of the boat net those fish and put them into a live-well with recirculating water. This allows the fish to fully recover where they are then measured and weighed, and then released back into the pond alive.
