PCVA currently offers coursework to 243 students in grades 6-12 in the School District of Pickens County. We just completed the first quarter of the year, and eligible students have completed 88 courses and earned the graduation credits for these courses. This coursework is rigorous, fast-paced, standards-aligned, grade level work. Expectations are high, and this achievement speaks volumes about the quality of student in our program! Congratulations to our students and the teachers supporting them behind the scenes!

Congratulations to Mrs. Hydrick, HS English, and Mrs. Baldwin, MS Math. They are recognized by students in PCVA as Champions for Connection and Community Building. Their students identify them as putting in extra efforts to get to know students, getting to know students beyond the screen, and following up with students to make sure they are valued and seen. Mrs. Chilton and Mrs. Double also received honorable mentions by students during this process.

We look forward to recognizing PCVA Campions for Digital Innovation and Engagement during the next quarter.

We appreciate all of the above and beyond these individuals invest in our students!
