πŸ’š FHS CHAIN OF HOPE: EVERY LINK MATTERS! πŸ’š

Our Falcons have been spreading hope, kindness, and awareness all month long through our Chain of Hope Project in recognition of National Su***de Prevention Month! πŸ’š

School Kintegra Counselor Katherine Medline and Theater Arts Teacher Savanna Hodge led this meaningful initiative, inviting students and staff to write supportive messages, positive affirmations, and words of hope on paper strips. Each strip was linked together to create a powerful symbol of connection, resilience, and support within our Falcon family. πŸ¦…

πŸ’š And look at the impact we made! (473 yards) Our Falcons took their Chain of Hope out onto the field to show just how many messages of hope and encouragement our school community created throughout the month!

Each link represents a reminder that every Falcon matters, support is available, and no one has to face life's challenges alone. This project also helped encourage positive conversations about mental health and reduce the stigma surrounding asking for help.

A huge thank-you to Ms. Medlin, Ms. Hodge, our students, and our staff for helping spread such an important message. Together, we are building a community rooted in compassion, connection, and hope!

πŸ’š One message. One link. One Falcon family. A chain of hope!

πŸ’—πŸˆ FALCON COMMUNITY, YOU ARE AMAZING! πŸ’—

A huge THANK YOU to our Forbush community for coming together to support Breast Cancer Awareness! Because of your generosity, support, and school spirit, we were able to raise $1,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness! πŸŽ€

From our pink-out decorations to our football field displays, the love and support shown throughout this effort remind us how powerful a community can be when we rally behind a cause that touches so many lives.

To everyone who donated, participated, decorated, and helped make this possible β€” THANK YOU! Your support means so much, and every dollar helps raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer.

Our Teacher Cadet Honors II students recently participated in a GooseChase Scavenger Hunt at the Yadkin County Schools district office! Students worked in teams to find district staff members, interview them about their roles, and learn what it takes to keep our school system running efficiently. Of course, we added a few fun photo challenges along the way! πŸ“Έ
A huge thank you to our district staff for taking the time to share their knowledge and give our future educators a behind-the-scenes look at education beyond the classroom! ❀️🍎
