The record matters.

Residents remember the vacant storefronts along Route 18, the properties that sat vandalized, and the roads waiting for attention.

The Democratic team of Councilman Kevin T. McEvoy, Councilman Jim Wendell, and Councilwoman Dana Winston, working alongside the team of Mayor Brad Cohen, Councilwoman Dana Brannon Zimbicki, and Councilman Dinesh Behal, has helped move East Brunswick forward:

✅ Clearing blighted properties and bringing new investment to Route 18 while addressing court-mandated affordable housing obligations.

✅ Repairing and repaving hundreds of Township roads and investing in infrastructure residents use every day.

✅ Keeping annual municipal tax increases under 1% for nine straight years while investing in our community.

Those results take planning, difficult decisions, responsible budgeting, and the willingness to see projects through.

McEvoy, Wendell, and Consoli-Winston have a record of leadership. And that record gives residents something concrete to judge: what has changed, what has improved, and who has helped deliver it.

East Brunswick residents can see the results.

This year, the Mayor and Council have continued delivering through Recreation & Parks, investing in park upgrades and more opportunities for residents to get active and connect with their community. And they did it while keeping this year’s municipal tax increase below 1%.

That’s what leadership looks like: making progress residents can enjoy while staying mindful of their tax dollars. The Column B team is working for East Brunswick.

TOMORROW is National Walk to a Park Day! 🛝

It's a great day to visit one of East Brunswick's recently renovated playgrounds:
• Sadowski Park (2023)
• Washington Heights Park (2024)
• Country Lane Park (2025)
• Lenape Park, our new inclusive playground (2026)

Tell us in the comments: which park is your family's go-to?

Just some real facts:

1. The last time the Republicans controlled the Council, they increased the municipal tax levy 17 percent in just 3 years! COMPARE THAT TO INCREASES FOR 9 STRAIGHT YEARS OF 1 PERCENT OR LESS!

2. The Republican Council allowed abandoned Route 18 retail centers to become eyesores and blighted with no plan to address. COMPARE THAT TO THE INVESTMENT DOLLARS RESULTING IN MILLIONS MORE IN REVENUES BEING GENERATED FOR THE TOWNSHIP.

3. The Republican Administration terminated the road repaving program by failing to fund it. COMPARE TO THE 100s OF ROADS NOW PAVED.
