Location: 1 Legacy Place, East Brunswick, NJ

A portion of every meal will go back to support Memorial Elementary!

Get ready to fall into a good book! Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming October 19th–23rd, and we can’t wait to help our students discover their next favorite read!

📕 We Still Need Volunteers! Help us make the Book Fair a success! Head to our Linktree to sign up for a volunteer shift. Please remember that volunteers must be current PTA members. Thank you for giving your time to support our school and our readers!

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒Evening Shopping Hours! The Book Fair will be open during parent-teacher conference evenings on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 PM–8:00 PM. Stop by the Media Lab before or after your conference and browse with your family!

💵Make Shopping Easy with an eWallet! Set up a Scholastic eWallet so your child can shop cash-free at the fair. It’s a convenient way to give your child spending money without worrying about sending cash to school. Family and friends can even contribute to your child’s eWallet!

🧢One More Stop Before the Books! On your way to the Media Center, be sure to check the Lost and Found for missing jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, and other treasures that may belong to your child!

Due to the expected weather, Memorial’s Trunk or Treat has been postponed to our rain date of Friday, October 23rd, from 6:00–7:30 PM.

While we are disappointed that we can’t celebrate as planned, we look forward to a fun-filled evening of decorated trunks, costumes, candy, and Halloween fun next Friday (10/23/26)!

A few reminders:

Previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date.

Advanced tickets will be coming home in your child’s folder.

Trunk sign-ups are free, and each participating trunk receives two free admission bracelets. Trunk hosts will receive their admission bracelets at check-in!

Trunk sign-ups are still OPEN until October 20th!

Tickets at the door will be $8 per person.

50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we make this change. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on October 23rd!

Memorial Elementary’s annual Trunk or Treat is almost here! Join us Friday, October 16, from 6:00–7:30 PM in the Memorial School parking lot for a fun-filled evening of decorated trunks, costumes, and Halloween fun!

Advance tickets: $5 each

Day-of tickets: $8 each

⏰ Advance ticket sales are available through Tuesday, October 13, so grab your tickets before the price goes up!

Unfortunately, due to Sunday’s rainy weather, we have decided to cancel our 4th Grade Car Wash.

While we’re disappointed that we won’t be able to hold the event this weekend, we plan to revisit and reschedule the car wash for the spring, when we can hopefully count on warmer, sunnier weather!

For those who made signs or posters, please don’t throw them away! Hang on to them, as we would love to put them to good use when we reschedule.

We want to sincerely thank all of the families and students who offered to volunteer their time, offered to help, and supported this event. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to make this fundraiser a success!

We look forward to revisiting this in the spring and hope to see everyone there!
