September 11, 2001. Never forgotten. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, we still remember the 2,977 lives that were taken, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger while the rest of the world was running away.

Today, we honor the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, military members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage. We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who carried the weight of that day home with them.

As firefighters, we understand the call to serve. We understand the courage it takes to put on the uniform, answer the alarm, and step forward when others need help. The men and women who answered the call on September 11th remind us of the meaning of that responsibility.

We remember their names. We remember their sacrifice. We remember their families. We remember.

May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the unity that followed.

🔥 Friday Fire Safety Tip 🔥

We've talked about it before, but it's worth repeating because every second counts during an emergency...

Please don't block fire hydrants. Whether you're parking for "just a minute" or placing landscaping, decorations, or other objects nearby, blocking a fire hydrant can delay firefighters from getting water when it's needed most.

Why it matters:
• Firefighters may need that hydrant at a moment's notice
• Every second spent finding or accessing a hydrant can allow a fire to grow
• Blocking a hydrant can put lives and property at greater risk
• Keep at least 3 feet of clearance around fire hydrants at all times

Fire hydrants are there to protect our community. Keeping them clear is a simple way everyone can help firefighters do their job when every second matters.

Have a safe weekend!
