Yesterday A-Shift had the privilege of meeting Zayne with his family, getting to hear his story and their mission. Project Zayne is on a mission to provide sensory and comfort items to first responders to hand out to children with autism and special needs in their time of crisis.

After a recent devastating call that our department had involving a child we seen the need for this service. Fire Fighter Hill reached out to Project Zayne and they graciously agreed to come help us and let us be a part of their family and their mission. They provide these items at no cost and run purely on donations. We can’t thank them enough for what they do for first responders and their mission to help children in crisis

BREAKING NEWS: PROJECT ZAYNE HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING! 🚨🚒

📍 East Liverpool, OH Fire Department

Another firehouse, another adventure, and another group of everyday heroes getting a little dose of Zayne! 💙

We might be small, but our mission is MIGHTY! 💪

We’re out here proving that you don’t need a cape to be a superhero. Sometimes all it takes is a fire truck, a little understanding, and the willingness to make a child feel safe. 🧩❤️

A HUGE thank you to East Liverpool FD for being another stop on our mission to bring calm to the chaos, one department at a time!

🚒 Different station. Same mission. One pretty incredible little boy behind it all.
