📚 Tumble Books has over 1300 animated, talking pictures books that are free to access in the library or with your library card from anywhere. A selection of books are also available in Spanish and French.

🎉 Yesterday we were a part of a HUGE announcement for local libraries on the Illinois side of the Quad Cities. Local library directors have joined together to launch fundraising for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Rock Island County. The initial fundraising goal is $36,200, with $10,000 in pledges already received.

The news conference yesterday was packed with local educators, early childhood advocates, local government officials, foundations, and library folks, and others excited about this opportunity to make sure every child has access to books in their homes. Speakers included Angela Campbell, Rock Island Library director, Audra Cottrell, Community Engagement Coordinator, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Illinois, Teonna Dowell, Early Head Start Program Director, Early Head Start Child Care Partnership, SAL Community Services, Julie Larson, President & CEO, YWCA Quad Cities, Senator Mike Halpin, and Bianca Sierra, East Moline Public Library Director

🍂 Thank you to everyone who joined us for Fall Fest yesterday! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and celebrate the season together!

A special shout-out to our amazing teen volunteers for helping with snow cones, balloon making, and face painting! 🎈🍧🎨 Thank you to Tami from the FRIENDS of East Moline Public Library for joining us and spreading awareness of how the FRIENDS support the library!

A huge thank you to Hampton Heritage Center for allowing us to use their beautiful facility when the weather didn’t cooperate with our plans to be at the park. We truly appreciate your kindness and support!
