Teamwork in action 🫶 A huge thank you to our longtime friends at for spending the day volunteering with us at EHP!

Over the years, they’ve been a valued community partner, and we were excited to have their staff spend the day volunteering alongside our team.

Whether sorting food donations, helping in our Community Closet, or organizing the Food Pantry, their enthusiasm and willingness to help made a real difference.

Hunger isn’t always visible, but it’s closer than many people realize.

According to Feed the Children, 1 in 5 children in America faces hunger or uncertainty around where their next meal will come from. Families across the country continue to feel the effects of rising food costs, housing instability, and reduced assistance benefits.

At EHP, we see the importance of community support every single day. From fresh food distribution to clothing, household essentials, and wellness resources, our mission has always been to help families meet basic needs with dignity and care.

For 50 years, EHP has worked to be a safety net for East Palo Alto and surrounding communities, especially during times of uncertainty. Because no child, parent, or senior should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter helping us continue this work. 🫶🏽

We’re always inspired by the next generation choosing to show up, get their hands dirty, and give back.

These volunteers spent time in our Community Garden helping care for fresh food that will go directly back into our community.

Thank you! 🌱☀️
