Felix served at the rank of Patrolman from December 1998 until May 2016, when he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Seven years later, in October 2023, Felix was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, where he became a Tour Commander.

Prior to achieving the rank of Sergeant, Felix served as the East Rutherford PBA Financial Secretary from 1999 to 2004 & State Delegate from 2004 to 2016. While serving as Delegate, Felix further served on the Bergen County Conference and New Jersey State PBA Executive Board.
Throughout his career, Felix has been the recipient of several awards, including the Lifesaving Award, Apprehension Award Exceptional Duty Award and several Letters of Commendation.
While Felix proudly served in many roles for our Department, Felix’s most proud moment of his career was when he was able to pin his son’s badge on his chest, cementing a family legacy here in East Rutherford.
Both Stan and Felix epitomized what it meant to be leaders in our Department, and to dedicate your time serving the Borough. For a combined 56 years of dedicated service, they served in a variety of roles over the years, but perhaps their most important role was being mentors to the next generation of Officers.
To Stan and Felix, your brother and sister Officers at the East Rutherford Police Department will miss you greatly but wish you and your families all the best in your next chapter! Congratulations to both of you on your retirements 🫡
