A reminder from the SMHS PTSA!

Upcoming Middle School Dances
Grade 7: Friday November 6, 2026 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Grade 8: Friday, October 30, 2026 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

It’s almost time for our youngest students to hit the dance floor and socialize! We are excited to announce our upcoming middle school dances, where students can enjoy great music, play games, hang out with friends, and just have fun!

To help make these events extra special, we are asking for donations of individually wrapped snacks, chips, or candy for students to enjoy throughout the event.

If you are able to contribute, please drop off your donations at the Main Office. Kindly ensure all items are clearly labeled "Grade 8 Dance" or "Grade 7 Dance" so they reach the correct event.

We are pleased to continue our collaboration with our partners from Heritage Museums & Gardens to put on a spooktacular (but not too scary) family festival on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24.

The Sandwich Community Presale for Spooky Knights tickets starts Monday at 8am! Check your email for the presale link.

The sale for the general public will be September 23rd.

Tonight’s the night! Come on down to Sandwich High School 7-9!!

Sandwich Public Schools and The Blue Knights Gridiron Committee are pleased to announce the upcoming Sandwich Community Homecoming Event.

This all-ages event will take place on Thursday, October 15, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the grounds of Sandwich Middle High School.

The evening's festivities will include a community bonfire, music, and games. Food trucks will also be available on-site!

This event is free of charge, and all members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!

🪩 11th Grade Parents: Want to help make Prom less expensive?

Here’s something you may not realize: Prom is a BIG expense for the Junior Class.

SMHS Prom welcomes both juniors and seniors — plus outside guests. That means finding a venue with enough capacity can be limited and costly.

And who helps pay for it? The Junior Class. 💙

Students fundraise all year to help offset the cost and keep ticket prices manageable for families. One of the easiest ways you can help right now?

💙 Donate $25 to the SMHS Activities Fund.

The grade with the most participation earns a $1,000 BONUS.

So if the Junior Class wins, your $25 donation could help put an extra $1,000 toward their class budget — the same budget helping fund Prom.

Ever wonder what the SMHS PTSA actually does? 💙

Here’s the answer: we give it back.

During the 2025–2026 school year, the SMHS PTSA raised more than $36,000 through memberships, donations and fundraisers — and by June, had already put more than $30,000 directly back into SMHS.
