📚 New Book Tuesday

This week’s new books are getting a little cozy!

🍂In Dead Before Tea Time (Beaton), 37th in the cozy mystery series, Agatha Raisin's Cotswolds village is in an uproar when word spreads that their beloved Red Lion pub is set to close.
🍂Graphic novel Spoke (Leyh) is a year in the post-apocalyptic life of a nonverbal bicycle courier who serves her tight-knit communities in a reverted pre-industrial world; a chance connection with a stranger suddenly makes her feel not so alone anymore.
🍂In As You Wake, Break the Shell (Chambers), life on the planet of Fortune is challenging; for its inhabitants, it's home, but for two of them, Signy and Cora, home might no longer be enough – told in an alternating timeline of their first meeting and a future where they have found domestic bliss.

Woot woot! We love this opportunity to visit the schools! Thank you Eastmont School District!

We’ve been having so much fun bringing the library to local high schools!

Every Tuesday during lunch, we visit Wenatchee High School to offer library card sign-ups, book check-outs, and a fun new theme each week. We also visit Eastmont High School during lunch on the first two Tuesdays of each month!

This week things got a little spooky! We love connecting with students, helping them find their next great read, and bringing a little library magic to their lunch hour.

We can’t wait to see what theme is next! ✨

📚New Book Tuesday📚

In this week’s new books, self-help is on the shelf!

⭐How in Make a Friend (Agrawal) reveals what modern culture has forgotten: friendship is gloriously inefficient and that's exactly why it matters - friendship isn't something you have; it's something you practice.
⭐In Procrastinators Get Stuff Done (White), the author extends her expertise to tackle procrastination head-on, offering innovative strategies and insights for anyone seeking to conquer the habit and unlock their full potential.
⭐The Forest Year (Tapper) is a moving account of what it means to persist in the face of change and love a place through work, compromise, sacrifice, and humility, inspiring readers to think deeply about where they live and who they are.

📚 New Book Tuesday!

This week in books, three popular authors of books for kids and teens have new titles on the shelves!

⭐For teen readers, Escape Me (Mafi), the third book in Shatter Me: New Republic, continues the story ten years after where the first book series ended.
⭐For middle-grade readers, Building 903 (Lowry) follows the tradition of The Giver, delivering a story about censorship, comfort, complicity, and the radical power of books to unlock our humanity.
⭐For middle-grade, The Wump (DiTerlizzi) is a deliciously dark supernatural coming-of-age story about bullying, and a boy and a monster.
