The Forks Township Police Department is accepting applications for Full-Time Police Officers. Join a premier accredited agency committed to community safety and officer wellness.
Requirements & Applications:
All applicants must be a United States Citizen and have reached their 21st birthday before submitting the application. They must also possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a Police Officer, and possess a Pennsylvania Driver’s License prior to appointment.
Applicants must have successfully completed ACT 120 (Municipal Police Officers Training) and be eligible for immediate certification as a Police Officer by time of appointment. Applicants currently attending or planning to attend in 2026 are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants will take oral examinations and successful applicants selected from the eligibility list will be required to pass a background investigation, physical, psychological, and polygraph examination.

Completed applications may be filed at no charge starting on October 22, 2025, and no later than 4:00 pm on November 24, 2025, at the Township Municipal Building.
