The Kiwanis Club of Easton honored the exceptional accomplishments of three Nazareth Key Club members, empowering them as beacons of positive change. Madison Lohrman and Talia Kwotkiski were recognized with the prestigious Charles and Sandra Adams Scholarship, valued at $1,500 each, as they prepare to elevate their educational pursuits at Villanova and Dickinson. Giada Palma was awarded the Kathy Heller Scholarship, valued at $1,500, fueling her aspirations at Penn State.

Our speaker program this Wednesday June 3, 11:45AM will be held at the new Palmer-Kiwanis Youth Center, 3052 Green Pond Road (just past the new Elementary school). We will have a great time listening to Storyteller, Jim Cyr (see flyer). We will be ordering pizza and salad from Marinelli’s Pizza and the cost will be $10/person. We asked that you make reservations in advance and if you did not, please send an email to Secretary Marybeth Okula [email protected].

Also, on Tuesday June 2nd we will have a 6PM evening event at Tony’s Pizza on Sullivan Trail. The Nazareth Key Club Scholarship recipients, parents, and their advisor Bridget Lubarsky will be eating and meeting with Kiwanis members. Again, notify Secretary Marybeth [email protected] if you are coming.

And advance notice for June 17 we have a great speaker program. Local pizza maker, George Khoury from George’s Pizza will be here to tell share his childhood experiences growing up in Lebanon during its Civil War 1975-1990 before coming to America and developing his American dream.
