Earlier this year, a fire took place in the heart of our downtown. For the businesses on that block, it meant temporary closures, lost revenue, and weeks of uncertainty, all while foot traffic in the surrounding area came to a near standstill. It was a hard stretch for some of our hardest working small business owners.
But this community showed up!
Last week, we were proud to present $1,100 to each of the businesses impacted: Easton Nutrition, MHK Market, Love You More, State Cafe & Grill, Precision Cuts 2, and Jois Boutique. Every dollar came from people who understood what these businesses mean to our downtown and wanted to make sure they knew they weren’t forgotten.
A heartfelt thank you to Aaron Coleman of Platinum Star Cleaning for putting this fundraiser together from the ground up. And to everyone who gave, this was your doing!
Easton Main Street Initiative is proud to have done this alongside the Easton Business Association and the Easton Chamber of Commerce. Easton, you never stop reminding us why we love you. ❤️
