Attention Parents:

These types of electric bikes cannot be legally driven on borough streets! A juvenile was charged today with fleeing/eluding along with numerous traffic violations after refusing to stop for police. The driver was part of a group of young people who were operating similar electric bikes. The group was driving reckless; running stop signs, riding wheelies, and driving through red lights at intersections. The bike was also impounded which means a very expensive day for the parents of the juvenile!!!
