Represents the Lenape Nation of Pa. through displays and education of our history. to help others understand who we are, and to promote our history and culture.

The Lenape Cultural Center represents the Lenape Nation of Pa., an indigenous group of descendants of the original people from this area. Although most Lenape people were forced into removal from their ancestral homelands through the Walking Purchase Treaty of 1737, small pockets of communities and families stayed behind and assimilated into society here on the East coast.
