A busy week of training continued Tuesday as members of the First Platoon reviewed Aerial Masterstream Operations with Ladder 1.
Ladder 1, a 2025 Pierce Enforcer Tractor Drawn Aerial, has a 107' maximum height and allows water to be applied from the full range, through use of a tip mounted monitor. A single firefighter can easily and safely adjust the water stream from the ground without the need to climb the ladder, freeing up manpower that will be vital elsewhere on the fireground.

It will take place on Friday, February 27 from 3 β 8 pm, and Saturday, February 28 from 9 am β 2 pm at The Gallery at the State Theatre Center for the Performing Arts, 453 Northampton Street.
Agencies in attendance are expected to include:
β’ PA Dept. of Health
β’ PA Dept. of Transportation
β’ PA Dept. of Human Services
β’ PA Dept. of Revenue
β’ Northampton County Area Agency on Aging
β’ Northampton County Dept. of Health & Human Services
β’ Disaster Case Management
β’ Mental Health
β’ Easton Housing Authority
β’ United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley
β’ Red Cross Pennsylvania Rivers Chapter
Other County agencies are also expected to participate. A Spanish speaking interpreter will be available to assist with translation services. Non-perishable food will be available as well.
A MARC is a centralized, one-stop location where individuals and families affected by disasters or major emergencies can access assistance from multiple governmental, nonprofit, and community agencies. This approach streamlines service delivery, reduces duplication of effort, and ensures that survivors receive comprehensive support in a single, coordinated environment.
