Come out to the fire station for our annual Chili cook off! Bring a pot of your best chili for a chance to win a prize!

We are celebrating fire prevention week and will have a chili cookoff!

Food service starts at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 9th, please have your entries present by 5:45 p.m.

This is a free event and there is no need to bring anything! Come hungry and be a judge!

We hope to see you all there!

Easton community,
This Saturday, June 13th, from 9 am until 11 am, Easton Fire Department will be hosting "A community conversation on wildfire resilience". We will have Easton Fire Department and Blue Pine Fuels available for a community conversation. This will be at the Easton Fire Station.
The Easton Community Association will be in attendance and we would like any interested Easton community members to attend as well.
This is strictly a discussion and awareness meeting, in part to our upcoming Fire season and our communities Emergemncy Prepardness.

Easton Fire is setup at the Memorial Day parade! Come by and get goodies for the kids and learn about Wildfire Safety and Community Evacuation Information. And hopefully no one needs it but we have our Aid Unit here for any First Aid needs. Parade starts at noon!

This week’s Firewise topic is **Defensible Space**. Defensible space is the area around a home where vegetation and other flammable materials are reduced or maintained to help slow wildfire spread and improve firefighter access and safety.

Creating defensible space around your home can make a critical difference during a wildfire.

This week, focus on clearing the area closest to your home:
✂️ Trim vegetation within 5 feet of structures
🪵 Move firewood away from your home
🍃 Clean leaves and debris from roofs and gutters

Im sure everybody has kept up on the drama involving CEFD. We have the lowest tax rate in the county. We need to keep it that way. Guess what, we cannot do it without responders. We need volunteers.
There is a job for everybody. Good at administration? Strictly EMS? Wildire only? Structure Fire? Just want to support to members while on a big incident?
Easton Fire Department is a small Department which serves our community, 24/7. We cannot do it without the support of our community.
