The George Reiger magic and illusion show Friday, June 5, 2026, was a resounding success at edible Walkway's inaugural annual picnic, held at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton.

The Boys & Girls Club of Easton and its community partners extend their sincere gratitude for the support received. The event featured enjoyable festivities, excellent cuisine, and a notable presence from the Easton skateboard community, complemented by exceptional catering services provided by Whinstons Culinary Group, culminating in a satisfying conclusion to the After-school Program at the Boys & Girls Club. Notably, Southside Easton boasts some remarkable gardens, including the urban farms at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton, which were proudly showcased to the community on Friday, June 5, 2026. Special appreciation is extended to Todd Nemura and the Edible Walkway's Activate Easton committee for their valuable contributions.

The Helping Hands crew at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton, under the guidance and direction of Michelle McKessey, cordially invites you to attend this morning's Free Food Giveaway event, held at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton, located at 210 Jones Houston Way in Southside within the Neston Heights community. Thanks to Wegmans Easton, the sponsor of our Saturday morning Free Food Giveaway, as well as Food, Donations, and the support of our funders, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, the Richard and Susan Master Family Foundation, and the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, and the generosity of Wegmans, and as they appeared in the opening group photo left to right, Michelle McKessey, Dawson Weller, and Trinity McKessey, our tables are prepared with a diverse array of food goods with the ultimate goal of providing a reliable resource for supplemental food at no cost to families in need.

Join us this morning Doors open up at 10 AM in the Free Food Giveaway concludes at 11 AM. We repeat the giveaway on Sunday same time same place but doors opening at 10 AM and 11 AM.

You can prove through the photos to get a glimpse of some of the items that are available today.

As you can see by the photos, some of our guests have arrived early part of what the morning giveaways are all about is networking meeting, new friends, sharing and conversation and using early rival meaningful time to socialize.

Today, we are excited to host a Free Food Giveaway at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton, located at 210 Jones Houston Way, Southside, Easton, Pennsylvania. We have an impressive selection of fresh produce, meat, vegetables, fruit, and as previously mentioned, an abundance of canned goods and non-perishable items for our guests. Dawson Weller, a volunteer from the Club, and I are here this morning to facilitate the event. We have collected food donations from the Wegmans loading dock and will be returning to the Boys & Girls Club of Easton, where our dedicated team of volunteers, led by Michelle McKessey, will prepare the tables for the giveaway. The doors will open promptly at 10:00 AM, and the event will conclude at 11:00 AM.

Free Food Giveaways is available on Saturday June, 6, 2026, 10:00am to 11:00am.

The Boys & Girls Club of Easton, PA, is proud to host a free food distribution event on June 6, 2026, bringing the community together through kindness and generosity.

Thanks to Wegmans Grocery and Bakery Stores in Easton, this event will run from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton in Southside Easton loaded at 210 Jones Houston Way in Southside, providing crucial support to local families in need.

Through the free & Fresh Food Initiative, a wide variety of essential items will be available, including canned goods, courtesy of Matthew Raykos, Service Manager at Wegmans Easton, helping families thrive. The Free Food Giveaway will offer an assortment of fresh bread, baked goods, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and other staples.
