Staff Spotlight: Center Director Jess Weiss ✨

Meet Jess, our Center Director at the Lee & Mary Markquart Center! Jess is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where every member feels supported, valued, and encouraged to be themselves.

We asked Jess why she likes working at the club and this is what she said: "I love working at the club because I get to make a difference in the lives of our members every day. Whether it's helping a child learn something new, sharing a laugh or watching our kids grow in confidence, the little moments make this job so rewarding. I love building relationships with our members and creating a place where they learn, grow, and make memories!"

Fun Fact about Jess is that she is originally from California, but has called Wisconsin home for the last 16 years!

Fall is officially in the air at the Club!

This past Friday, our members got a little messy in the kitchen for a fun cooking activity! Our kids kicked off the fall season by creating their very own dirt cups made with pudding, crushed cookies, and a candied pumpkin on top. A little dirt, a little sweetness, and a whole lot of fall fun!

And after making their creations? Our members thought this was the BEST thing ever! Who knew pudding, cookies, and a little pumpkin could bring so much excitement?! 🎃

While we enjoyed our tasty creations, we also talked about how it’s okay to enjoy fun treats as part of a balanced lifestyle! We’re all about building healthy habits while remembering that everything can be enjoyed in moderation.

Our members had a sweet start to the fall season, and we can’t wait for more fun activities at the Club!
