πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ September 11, 2001 β€” Never Forget. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11th and honor the courage and sacrifice of the firefighters, EMS providers, police officers, and other first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.

Many never made it home.

We remember their bravery.
We remember their sacrifice.
We remember the families who were forever changed.
And we remember the promise to Never Forget.

From all of us in EMS and Fire, we honor those who gave everything in service to others.

September 11, 2001 β€” We Remember. We Honor. We Never Forget. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸš’πŸš‘

First Day of School πŸŽ’πŸšŒ

It’s hard to believe it’s already time for another school year! As our students head back to school, we want to remind everyone to slow down, stay alert, and drive carefully.

🚸 Watch for children crossing streets and walking near roadways.
🚌 Stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing.
πŸš— Give buses plenty of room and be patient.
πŸ“΅ Put the phone down and keep your eyes on the road.

Let’s work together to make sure our children, teachers, and school staff have a safe and successful first day of school!

From all of us at Chowan County EMS, have a great school year and stay safe! πŸš‘πŸ’™

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Griffin family, as well as our brothers and sisters at Nash County EMS, following the passing of Dale Griffin.

Dale’s dedication to his family, his community, and the EMS profession will not be forgotten. We stand with his family, friends, and fellow EMS providers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Dale. Thank you for your service. πŸš‘πŸ’™

This morning at 12:32 a.m., Chowan County EMS was requested for mutual aid to Gates County to assist with a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision.

Our crew responded alongside our neighboring agencies and transported one critically injured patient to Chowan Hospital for emergency care.

While we may serve different counties, when we’re called to the same scene, we become one team with one mission: providing the highest level of care to those in need.

A sincere thank you to everyone who worked together to make this response successful:

* Chowan County EMS
* Gates County EMS
* Perquimans County EMS
* Hobbsville Fire Department
* Sunbury Fire Department
* Gates County Sheriff’s Office
* North Carolina State Highway Patrol

One Team. One Mission. πŸš‘πŸš’πŸš“
