Thanks to generous support from Edgerton Hospital and Health Services, we are so excited to announce our EHS student of the month for the month of October!
This month please congratulate Wiley Rufledt who was nominated by Mrs.McCabe. Wiley was nominated for having Strong character, being active in school activities and/or community service, Showing leadership, Positive behavior, Good attendance, and a Positive attitude toward others/learning
Mrs. McCabe had this to say about Wiley: Wiley has been in my classes over the past 3 years and has shown so much growth. This year he took on a TA role in my sculpture and ceramics class. He really enjoyed the class last year and explored many ways to engage in the learning. He learned multiple approaches to the different media to expand his understanding. All of that has benefited the students currently taking the class. Because I cannot duplicate myself, it has been so nice to have someone who knows the material help to support others in the classroom. He is always willing to jump in and do a task I ask him to do, or walk around to see who needs help. He stays after class during his open to help clean up as well. Recently he has been reflective on what is needed for his own learning and uses that to advocate for those adjustments to be made for all students. He is a positive and calming presence in the room and often offers comedic relief when needed. I am so happy he decided to TA and hope he will continue in the future. Thanks, Wiley for all you do!
Thanks for being a great example of a dedicated student, Wiley! And congratulations on being our EHS student of the month!
