Edinburg is proud to proclaim October 15th as White Cane Awareness Day! 🤍✨
During the proclamation, Mayor Ochoa took on a challenge—navigating Council Chambers blindfolded with a white cane. 🦯 It was a memorable moment highlighting the daily journey of our visually impaired neighbors and the importance of accessible spaces.
A big THANKS to the District 2A-3 Lions Club for bringing this challenge to life and championing independence and inclusion across our city! 👩‍🦯👨‍🦯
