• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to manage household finances without foster care reimbursement
• Complete and pass criminal & child welfare background checks
• Have a working vehicle and sufficient space
• Provide references
• Comply with DHS rules and policy
• Have healthy relationships, whether single, married, or divorced
