In the years since, the courage and sacrifice shown by first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans has stood as a powerful reminder of our nation’s resilience. We will never forget.

2LT Ribeiro is one of the very few Soldiers to earn a direct commission, a testament to his proven track record as an outstanding NCO and leader of Soldiers. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have set the standard throughout his career, and now he continues that legacy as a commissioned officer.

We are proud to announce that he will be joining C Company, 1-179 Infantry Regiment. The future is bright with leaders like him paving the way.

Whether it’s pushing comms through thick woods, rugged terrain, or over long distances — this team ensures every order, report, and call for fire gets through. No signal, no fight. With them on the net, Pawnee stays informed, lethal, and in control.

From mastering land navigation and dominating with crew-served weapons, to refining cover and concealment techniques and sharpening close-quarters skills with combatives — Wardogs are training hard to stay sharp, adaptable, and mission-ready.

B Company, 1-179 IN — callsign Battle — is putting in the work at Annual Training, training hard to react to UAS threats and stay hidden from enemy surveillance.

Soldiers are learning how to identify, avoid, and respond to drone activity while conducting dismounted reconnaissance of enemy objectives on foot.

It’s about outsmarting the enemy, not just outshooting them. Battle moves with discipline, reacts with precision, and stays one step ahead.
