President Donald Trump, alongside U.S. Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins, announced one-time payments for producers, providing relief during harvest due to increased fuel costs.

"This $8 billion dollar investment will help bring certainty to our farmers during this harvest so they can continue to feed our nation," said Brooke Rollins.

USDA announces changes to negotiated cash cattle coming next week.
USDA said, "Because cash purchases serve as the basis for many formula transactions, the decline in negotiated trade has reduced the number of reportable transactions and created confidentiality challenges that can limit the usefulness of existing price reports. This update supports USDA’s cattle and beef-market transparency objectives by providing producers, livestock sellers, packers, and other market participants with more meaningful information about negotiated cash cattle prices."
