Have you noticed the work at Gordy Park? The old gazebo has been removed in preparation for the new pavilion, which will be the same style as the one at Summit Park. Today, Public Works crews were digging the trench for the electric conduit, then they will begin pouring the concrete pad. Once the concrete is finished, Parks and Rec staff will construct the new pavilion. The project is planned to be completed by Nov. 30, weather permitting.

The El Dorado Elks Lodge will be holding their annual Free Soccer Shoot on Sept. 26! It is for ages 7 through 15 (age as of Jan. 1, 2026). Join them for this come and go event, where winners will have the opportunity to compete at the district championshis.
