On October 2nd, El Paso BORSTAR and Air and Marine Operations deployed to the Van Horn area after two gyro helicopters made emergency landings due to adverse weather. Thanks to swift coordination with local ranch owners, all three subjects were safely extracted. No injuries were reported. A job well done by our team and our vital community partners—true local heroes.

On September 22, 2026, Border Patrol Agents and the BP Mobile Response Team arrested 4 illegal aliens during a failed smuggling attempt in Fort Hancock, Texas. The vehicle was seized. We will track, arrest, and remove anyone attempting to enter the U.S. illegally. THE BORDER IS CLOSED.
