This week Beast Company said goodbye to CW3 Eric Allen! Mr. Allen will be PCSing to Korea for a year-long rotation. He was an integral part of our maintenance operations and will be dearly missed.

Last week Beast Company returned from a training trip to Fort Hood! Beast Aviators were able to complete training in firefighting and were even able to support 2-3 CAV with an air assault operation!

Beast Aviators are technically and tactically proficient; ready to take on any task!

This month Beast Company said goodbye to three teammates. Two Soldiers, SGT Rivera and SPC Alvarez are leaving active duty after completing their service. CW4 Renteria is leaving our team to lead as a BN Standardization Instructor Pilot.

Congratulations to these three incredible Soldiers, they will be missed!

This week’s Beast Heroes are CW2 Kyle Buckley, CW2 Daniel Buckles, and SPC Ricardo Ochoa!

When a 1-501st AH-64D/E performed a precautionary landing in the Division Training Area they rapidly responded by performing an air movement of personnel and equipment.

Due to their actions the aircraft was assessed sooner rather than later.

This Friday Beast Company parted ways with CDT Smith. CDT Smith was participating in Cadet Troop Leader Training; an annual opportunity for cadets throughout the United States to try their hand at being a platoon leader prior to commissioning as a Second Lieutenant.

CDT Smith is a 4th-year student at the United States Military Academy and he hopes to become an aviation officer upon graduation. Good luck!

This Friday Bravo company Soldiers participated in Foundational Readiness Training focused on stress mitigation. Soldiers learned how to differentiate between good and bad stress as well as useful coping mechanisms.

Bravo company also promoted three junior enlisted Soldiers from the ranks of Specialist to the ranks of Corporal. Hard work comes with reward!

This week’s hero of the week is SPC Alvarez. SPC Alvarez serves as Unit Supply Clerk in 2nd Flight. In addition to his on duty success, SPC Alvarez dispatched and served two vehicles this week. He all also turned in and tracked all items on the Company Property Book in addition to coordinating multiple property handovers. SPC Alvarez’s exemplary performance, attention to detail, and dedication to the company personifies the spirit of professional excellence and selfless service present within Beast Company. Congratulations to SPC Alvarez!
