Happy Pride Month! We're so excited and honored to be able to raise and fly the Progress Pride Flag at City Hall throughout the month of June. Thank you to all of the LGBTQ+ organizations, partners, and allies for the work you do each and every day.

We’ll have guests from El Paso Water and the City’s Capital Improvement Department discuss an upcoming project for replacing a water line and rebuilding a portion of Piedras St.

It was an honor to recognize and congratulate two El Paso Police Department professionals, Officers Amairani Giner and Mark Perez. The two officers responded to a domestic violence call and survived after the response ended in an exchange of gunfire.

I'm proud of these two dedicated public servants and all the officers who truly make El Paso one of the safesty cities in the country.

Join us for a community listening session on the potential renaming of the Cesar Chavez Border Highway.

State Sen. Cesar Blanco and City Representative Josh Acevedo invite residents to hear a presentation, share feedback, and suggest possible new names for the highway as our community takes part in an important national conversation.

It was an honor to recognize the 20th anniversary of the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation this morning. The MCA exists to ensure that the healthcare needs of the Paso del Norte region are met by fostering the growth of a robust life sciences ecosystem, advancing healthcare education and workforce training, and supporting the commercialization of biomedical research and innovation.

It was great visiting all the mothers today at our various senior centers. Our staff put on great entertainment to celebrate and we all had a great time. Happy Mother's Day!
