Today I had the honor of attending the ribbon cutting for the El Paso Korean War Monument. 🇺🇸🇰🇷

They call it "The Forgotten War," but today El Paso said loud and clear: we remember.

Standing among veterans, families, and neighbors, I felt the weight of what so many gave — their youth, their health, and for some, their lives — for people they had never met in a land far from home.

To every Korean War veteran and Gold Star family: thank you. Your courage is now set in stone right here in our city, where future generations can stop, learn, and honor you.

Freedom is not free. Today, we remembered. 🙏

🇺🇸 COMMUNITY SUPPORT REQUESTED — UNACCOMPANIED VETERAN BURIAL 🇺🇸

This unaccompanied Veteran burial did not come to us through our normal notification channels, but we want to make sure our Veteran community is aware and has an opportunity to show their support.

If you are available, please consider attending and helping us ensure this Veteran is laid to rest with the dignity, honor, and respect earned through service to our nation.

No Veteran should make their final journey alone.

Please share this information with your fellow Veterans, Veterans Service Organizations, military families, and community partners who may be able to attend.

🇺🇸 If you can be there, please come stand with him and honor one of our own.
