Friends of Schwartz Library Bookstore

Our hours are Monday 9:15 - 12, Tuesday 12 - 4, Wednesday 10 to2 and Saturday 10 -4. We no longer have half price Saturday on the last Saturday of the month. Instead we will choose one week every 3 months or so to have a half price week.
We are in need of donations. Our shelves are looking a bit bare so if you can, please help us out. The only books we do not accept are encyclopedias and text books. They don't sell.

We've decided to have 50% off on the last Saturday of the month. Come by and check out our store. We sell books, books on CD, DVDs, Puzzles and some jewelry. Everything is half price except for the special books and jewelry.

Once again we've changed our hours. We are open from 10 to 4 on Saturdays and from 10 to 2 on Wednesdays. We are getting in great donations but the downside is that we're behind in sorting, pricing and shelving. But then again, it is nice to have stock to fall back on. New books are always on the shelves on Wednesday. Come on by and check us out. There are still customers who say, "I didn't know you were here" so please tell your friends.

We have received many donations of DVDs and CDs in the recent months. We also have some books on CD. It's worth a look!

The bookstore will be closed on Saturday, July 10 due to a Memorial Service for Marilyn Ginty who passed away November 3rd. She was our manager for 25 years. and beloved by many of our volunteers and customers.

The Friends of Schwartz Bookstore has new hours due to Covid. We are open Saturday and Wednesday from 10-2. We have had many donations therefore there are a lot of new books on the shelves. We just received a collection of Wimpy Diary books. We have some good teacher's book which have come in. Come in and browse!

The End of the Year Sale started on Wednesday. Buy one, get one free of equal or less price. Come in and take advantage of this great sale.

We have people coming in and asking us for a specific book. When they can't find it, they go home disappointed. Several times the book they are looking for comes in the next week. If you are looking for a specific book, keep checking in with us. You never know when the book will appear in our donation boxes.

We are getting a lot of new books in and are constantly updating our stock. Teachers are donating their books as well. Come in and check us out.

We are open tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We just received a large donation of large paperback mysteries and we are in the process of putting them on the shelves. Half of the donation is already priced and stocked. Come on it and browse. They are great books. And if you liked Steig Larsson's books, you might like the books by other Swedish, Finnish, Danish and Icelandic authors. We have a lot of them.

We just received the boxed 60th Anniversary Edition of The Chronicles of Narnia. Lowest list price on Amazon and Bookfinder is $400. We will take the best offer. It is in mint condition.
