Ocotillo by Howard Kalish was completed as part of our Public Art Program in 2011.
This sculpture is inspired by the native ocotillo and is meant to pay homage to the variety of plant species unique to El Paso’s desert region. The cast red flowers are illuminated from within, glowing softly at night and creating a focal point on a busy intersection.
You can find it off of Pebble Hills on the Upper East Side!
