We would like to congratulate Eastlake High school for becoming the first high school in El Paso to be a designated Project ADAM heart safe school. Along with El Paso Children’s Hospital we evaluated the administration and designated personnel’s ability to provide life saving care to someone in cardiac arrest. Life saving care had to be provided within a three minute mark anywhere on Campus. Not only was this achieved, but they excelled. Way to go Falcons!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms in our community! ❤️🚒

Today we celebrate the women who do it all! A special thank you to the mothers who support their children’s dreams of serving others, even when it means long shifts, missed holidays, and late-night calls.

We also want to recognize the amazing mothers within the fire service themselves. The firefighters, dispatchers, administrators, and support staff who continue to serve their communities while also caring for their families with unmatched dedication and heart.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the support you give, and the love you pour into those around you every single day. From all of us at El Paso County ESD No.1 - Horizon Fire Department, Happy Mother’s Day! 💐🚒❤️
