Woodworkers Club of El Paso

On Wednesday, members of the club gathered at the shop and worked on making and assembling wooden toys. These toys are donated to various El Paso organizations throughout the year.

Tomorrow is our May monthly meeting at noon! Please stop by if you are interested in the club and please share if you know anyone else who may be interested!

This morning, members of the Woodworkers Club spent the morning repainting the parking lot markings. Great job!

Here is an ornamentally turned ring dish made by one of our club members - Justin. The bottom is African Blackwood, the button is Pernambuco and the main dish is made out of an interesting synthetic material called Richlite. It is made with paper.

We had a great club meeting this past Saturday! Here are a few items our members brought for show and tell.

Here is a bowl made from Silver Ash. The outside is around 8.5" in diameter and it is 4" tall. The outside of the bowl is finished painted and the inside has a Beeswax / oil finish.
