The Paso del Norte Health Foundation celebrates the Class of 2026, including students who participated in after-school programs supported through our Healthy Kids initiative! 🎓

Today, we're recognizing graduates from one of our grantees, Friends of Organ Mountains–Desert Peaks , and their Moving Montañas program. With support from PdNHF, the program connects youth to the outdoors through hands-on experiences in the Chihuahuan Desert. 🦎

Programs like Moving Montañas help young people build healthy habits, deepen their connection to the community, and grow into the next generation of leaders and changemakers.

We're proud to see the impact of a community coming together for a better future. Congrats, grads!

🇺🇸 World No To***co Day.
🇲🇽 Día Mundial Sin Tabaco.
🇫🇷 Journée mondiale sans tabac.
🇩🇪 Weltnichtrauchertag.
🇮🇹 Giornata mondiale senza tabacco.
🇨🇳 世界无烟日.
🇸🇦 اليوم العالمي للامتناع عن تعاطي التبغ.

No matter which language you speak, the message is the same around the world today in honor of World No To***co Day. To***co use harms nearly every organ in the body and increases the risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung disease, and addiction.

Created by the World Health Organization in 1987, this annual observance raises awareness about the dangers of to***co, the tactics used by to***co companies, and the importance of protecting future generations through healthy living and prevention.

Education on wheels! 🚭 The Southern New Mexico Teen Mock Bedroom To***co and Drug Prevention Trailer was recently wrapped to reflect its mission: helping families learn about to***co, va**ng, and other substance use prevention.

Partially funded by the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, the trailer debuted in December and now travels to community events throughout southern New Mexico. It offers an interactive experience where participants search a mock teenager's bedroom for hidden va**ng devices and other warning signs.

We're grateful to partner with Action for Healthy Kids and the New Mexico National Guard's Drug Demand Reduction Outreach Team on this important prevention effort!
