A little friendly competition goes a long way. 🏐

EPPD officers joined the Seville Recreation Center community for an evening of volleyball, food, and fun. Events like these provide an opportunity to build relationships, strengthen community connections, and create positive interactions both on and off the court.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a great evening.

Career Day at Zach White Elementary 🚓🐕🏍️

The Westside Community Services Unit, K9 Officer Zamora, and the Motors Unit joined students for a day of learning, hands-on activities, and vehicle displays. Officers shared information about the many career opportunities within the El Paso Police Department and gave students a closer look at the work they do each day.

Thank you to Zach White Elementary for having us, and to Mayor Renard Johnson for stopping by to visit with students and staff.

☀️🐾 As temperatures rise, the El Paso Police Department is reminding the community to keep pets safe from the heat.

At this year’s Heat Safe event, Sgt. Kris Serna with the Animal Cruelty Unit educated residents about the dangers extreme heat poses to pets and explained that leaving an animal in dangerous conditions can be a criminal offense, including a felony charge in certain cases.

If you see an animal in distress or being left in unsafe conditions, report it by calling 311, the non-emergency police line, or the Animal Cruelty Tip Line at 915-212-0800. In an emergency, call 911 immediately.
Together, we can help keep our pets safe this summer. 🐶❤️
