The Fort Bliss Fire and Emergency Services Division successfully executed a series of events and outreach initiatives during Fire Prevention Week and we had a blast. Thank you to al the schools and CDCs that participated, thank you to Domino's and the NFPA for assisting us with the smoke detector initiative, thank you to everyone that signed up for station tours. You all made this year a great success.

On Tuesday, Oct. 21 and Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5-7 p.m., customers who order a Domino’s pizza may be randomly selected for a special surprise: their delivery could arrive with a fire engine. If you choose to participant in this program, Fort Bliss Firefighters will be checking your smoke alarms and you could get a free pizza.
Customer’s can call Domino’s at 915-562-3500 to place their order.

Yesterday Fort Bliss Fire and Emergency Services Division proudly hosted its inaugural Fire Prevention Week Proclamation Ceremony at Fire Station #5 (B20709). The event welcomed over 30 attendees and featured a formal presentation led by COL Soyak, Sparky the Fire Dog, Assistant Chief Hernandez, and the crew of Engine 51.
The ceremony highlighted the significance of Fire Prevention Week and the role of official proclamations in promoting public safety awareness. COL Soyak and Sparky jointly signed the proclamation, officially designating October 20–24 as Fire Prevention Week at Fort Bliss.
To conclude the event, attendees witnessed a live demonstration of an electric vehicle fire response, showcasing the department’s preparedness and commitment to fire safety education.
