Doesn't Minnie make the cutest faces!? 🥹
You might recognize the pup in slide 3 from yesterday's foster Friday post, both Maya and Minnie both arrived at our shelter as little puppies and spent their childhood together in a loving foster home. Maya is thriving in her current foster home, and now it's Minnie's turn to leave the shelter!
PS> Maya is also available for adoption! Check out her post for more info: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1E8qroVLfm/
Minnie is the sweetest girl and has lived around children, knows sit, come, and seems to be potty trained! She's outgoing, loves car rides, pool time and will quickly greet anyone she meets. Minnie is also extremely treat-motivated and is eager to learn new tricks. 🙇♀️
Unfortunately, Minnie has been very stressed in the shelter environment and has been on our at risk list since April. Being in a kennel day in, day out is taking a toll on her and she urgently needs a home where she can decompress, relax, and get back to being her perfect little self.
If you can give Minnie a foster or forever home, please come by! She's currently checked in at our main shelter at 5001 Fred Wilson, open daily from 11am-6pm.
Can't adopt? Share this post and leave a comment to help her get seen by someone who can give her the second chance she desperately needs! 🙏

Maya is proof that at-risk dogs are often some of the best dogs.🥹🧡
When Maya was in the shelter, she was stressed out, scared, and on our at-risk list. Now that she's had the chance to decompress in a loving foster home, she's showing everyone who she really is. 🐾
Her foster family says she's the kind of dog who makes herself right at home. Her favorite activities include cuddling in bed, giving kisses, and spending time with her people.🥰
She's already potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and comes when called. Maya is currently living with a Chihuahua, Husky, and Golden Retriever, and gets along wonderfully with all of them. She's also done great around kids.👏🤩
Maya has waited long enough for a family of her own. If you've been looking for an easy addition to your home, she might just be your girl.
If you'd like to be this girl's forever, reach out to our foster team at [email protected], with Maya's animal ID number!

Everyone, stop scrolling! Take a second to marvel at Lana’s beauty. 😍😍😍😍😍
This pretty girl recently went out on a field trip with one of our amazing volunteers, here’s what she had to say about Lana:
“Two year old Lana is a sweet love bug who just wants a place to lay her head and someone to love on. Shes content to be a couch potato, but loves her a morning sniff walk (5 stars on her leash skills!) and zoomies in the backyard. She seems to be potty trained, knows sit, and is the most dainty, gentle girl when taking treats and giving kisses. She did great getting a bath, and was a friend to every person she met. She’s not met any little kids yet, but was patient and affectionate with the older ones she did meet! Lana hates green beans, but loved any other treat offered to her. Lana is a professional passenger princess and even took a nap while waiting for her pup cup!
She’s been in playgroups before and paired with other dogs, but would need to be fed alone. She’s suchhhh a good dog!”
If you’re interested in adopting a pup but are past the puppy tendencies and potty training, Lana is more than ready for a home. She’s been waiting for months at 5001 Fred Wilson, and is eager to meet you any day between 11am-6pm. 🥹

🚨Throughout the month of May, almost 2,500 pets entered our care.
Our kennels are full, and the pets in our care are counting on our community for help. If you've lost a pet, please come and check if they ended up here. We're located at 5001 Fred Wilson, and open every day from 11am-6pm. 🐩
Adopting a pet is the biggest way you can help us. By adopting, you not only give a pet their forever home, but you then open up a space at the shelter for us to help more animals in need. Every adoption has a ripple effect, allowing us to continue caring for and serving more throughout our community. 🐈⬛😺🫶
Please come by and meet our adoptable pets, whether you're looking for a running buddy, couch potato partner, or someone in between, we've got your perfect match waiting for you. 🐾🥰
