Army Command Sergeant Major dies in South Korea Army Sgt. Maj. Jeremy C. Sims, 44, was found on May 20 while he was assigned to Osan Air Base, South Korea as an air defense senior leader.

Michael Aitchison loved animals and the outdoors. Michael served 23 years in the Army with Patriot air defense, 16 of the years in combat. He was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas. He served in Germany, Korea, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. He cared immensely for the troops he supervised and trained as Staff Sergeant and Master Gunner. He is survived by his son, his mother, his sister, and his two brothers. Photos feature Michael with dogs Rusty and Muttley at home in Phoenix and on a hike in Sedona; with fiancée Cathy; with late wife Kimberly, mother, and sister; and with son Jacob on a horse in the early 1990s.
