Today, the El Paso County Constable’s Office Precinct 1 was proud to participate in the 3rd Annual Community Cookout hosted by the Ralph T. Cloud Neighborhood Association, District 7 Representative Lily Limon, and District 3 Representative Deanna Rocha.

Our deputies had a wonderful time meeting with residents, visiting with families, and strengthening the relationships that help keep our community safe and connected. We were also happy to lend a helping hand by providing a little first aid to some of the kids who suffered minor bumps and bruises while enjoying the festivities.

Community events like these are a great opportunity to build trust, engage with our neighbors, and remind everyone that we are here to serve and support the people of El Paso County.

A special thank you to Representative Limon, Representative Rocha, and the Ralph T. Cloud Neighborhood Association for the invitation and for their continued commitment to bringing the community together. We look forward to participating in future events and continuing to serve our community with pride.

School’s Out – Celebrate Responsibly! 🚔🎓

As the school year comes to a close and weekend celebrations begin, Constable Frank Almada would like to remind everyone to make responsible and safe choices while enjoying this special time of year.

To help keep our community safe, Deputies from the El Paso County Constable’s Office Precinct 1 have partnered with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office to increase patrols throughout Precinct 1 during graduation celebrations and end-of-school festivities.
Whether you're attending a graduation party, gathering with friends, or spending time with family:

✅ Drive sober and never get behind the wheel impaired
✅ Designate a sober driver or use a rideshare service
✅ Obey all traffic laws and speed limits
✅ Keep an eye on your friends and loved ones
✅ Report suspicious activity or emergencies when necessary

Our goal is simple: for everyone to celebrate safely and make it home without incident.
Congratulations to all of the graduates on their hard work and accomplishments. We wish you a fun, memorable, and safe summer break!

Together, we can keep our community safe while celebrating this important milestone.

Today, Constable Frank Almada had the honor of attending the promotion ceremony for the newly promoted Sergeants and Lieutenants of the El Paso Police Department.

A special congratulations goes out to Sergeant Jorge Carreon on his well-earned promotion. Sergeant Carreon began his law enforcement career as a Deputy Constable in Precinct 1, where he was trained by Constable Almada many years ago before joining the El Paso Police Department to continue his professional journey.

Throughout his career, Sergeant Carreon has distinguished himself through exceptional service, serving on the Dignitary Protection Team, as a Detective in Crimes Against Children, and as a Homicide Detective. He was also featured on several episodes of Live PD. His dedication and commitment to excellence were further recognized when he was named Detective of the Year for 2026.

Sergeant Carreon will now serve at EPPD’s Westside Regional Command, where we know he will continue to make a positive impact on the community and the department.

The El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1, is incredibly proud of all that you have accomplished, Jorge. Congratulations on this tremendous achievement, and we wish you continued success in this next chapter of your career!

The El Paso County Constable’s Office Precinct 1 was proud to participate in the Texas Department of Transportation “Click It or Ticket” campaign kickoff, reinforcing a simple but life-saving message: buckle up.

Today, TXDOT featured a powerful demonstration showing a sports car stopped in motion using only seatbelt webbing, highlighting the incredible strength of seatbelts and their ability to withstand extreme force during a crash. It was a striking reminder that one simple action can make all the difference.

We are committed to keeping our community safe. Remember, every ride, every time, Click It or Ticket. 🚔
