As we wrap up the month of May, we continue celebrating and honoring the incredible mothers and mother figures across our community.

This week, we’re featuring CASFV Board Member Cinthia Ortega and her kiddos as they share a special message about motherhood, love, and community.

Thank you to all the mothers who lead with strength, compassion, and care every single day. Your impact reaches far beyond your own families and helps shape a stronger community for all of us.

Happy Mother’s Month from all of us at CASFV.

We’re 65% of the way there!

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we’ve already made great progress in the GECU Foundation Matching May Campaign — but we still need your help to reach our $12,000 goal!

The good news? We still have the rest of May to get there! Every donation made during Matching May helps us continue providing vital services and support to families in our community, and thanks to the GECU Foundation, your impact goes even further.

Let’s finish strong together and make these final weeks count! Donate today and help us cross the finish line.

It’s Matching May!

This month, the GECU Foundation will match every dollar donated to CASFV—up to $12,000—giving us the opportunity to raise a total of $24,000.

Your support helps not just adults, but the children impacted by domestic and sexual violence find safety, begin healing, and access the care and resources they need to thrive. Help us reach our $12,000 match goal and double your impact. Your donation will go twice as far in providing critical services, hope, and a brighter future for children in our community.

Together, we can make a powerful difference.

We’re honored to share that CASFV has been selected as one of the organizations for the GECU Foundation’s Matching May campaign!

Throughout the month of May, every donation made to CASFV will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the GECU Foundation—up to $12,000. That means your support can go twice as far in helping us continue our mission and serve our community.

This campaign supports organizations addressing critical needs and strengthening the well-being of the communities we serve, and we’re proud to be part of this effort.

If you’ve been thinking about giving, now is the perfect time to make an even greater impact. Together, we can make a difference.

CASFV Board Member Spotlight

This month, as we observe Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and continue elevating the theme “Consent is Loud,” CASFV is proud to highlight one of our dedicated board members, Rosemary Garcia, Anchor for Good Morning El Paso on ABC-7 (KVIA-TV).

In this spotlight, Rosemary shares why she chose to join the CASFV Board and what inspires her commitment to this work. As a trusted voice in our community, she emphasizes the importance of raising awareness, supporting survivors, and continuing conversations around consent, respect, and prevention.

SAAM serves as a powerful reminder that consent must always be clear, informed, and freely given—and that every voice plays a role in creating a safer community. Rosemary’s perspective reinforces the importance of using media platforms and community leadership to amplify education and advocacy efforts.

We are grateful for her leadership, her voice, and her dedication to CASFV’s mission.
Together, we continue to support survivors and promote a culture where consent is always loud, clear, and respected.

Today is Denim Day 💙 as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).

In solidarity with survivors, we’re inviting everyone to wear denim today to stand up, speak out, and show support. Our theme, “Consent is Loud,” is a reminder that consent should always be clear, enthusiastic, and respected.

Wear your denim. Show your support. Stand with survivors.
Tag and share your photos with us so we can uplift your voice and solidarity.
