July 2, 2026 - 250 Celebration Event in the park - fireworks at dark

We’re excited to announce that hometown singer Christina Crystal will be performing live at Independence in the Park on July 2nd! She will be on stage from 7PM-8:30PM

Christina Crystal was born and raised on the Gulf Coast in the small town of Miflin, AL. She grew up learning from local musicians and songwriters about performing and how to write. At 20 years old she began performing at the World Famous Flora-Bama and has been invited to play every year at the grandfather of songwriter festivals, International Frank Brown Songwriters Fest.

In 2015, she formed an independent record label with her partner, called Sandy Roots Records where they recorded her debut album “Silent Sea”. The independent road has brought her close to 3,000 live shows.

Over the years she has opened shows for Sunny Sweeney, Tyler Farr, David Nail, Maggie Rose, Jana Kramer, Cassandra Pope, Delta Ray, Drivin and Cryin, and Reckless Kelly. One highway lead her to release “Dolly, Would You Pardon Me” along with a hometown music video. The song went on to a nomination for “Best Country Song” for the Worldwide Independent Music Awards in New York City.
