🫑🌽 HEY!!! How about purchasing some fresh, produce from Elbert County 4-H for your Thanksgiving meals?!? 🌽🫑

We are excited to be selling Front Door Produce produce boxes again this year! Boxes are $35 and may include an assortment of bell peppers, green beans, corn, yellow squash, cucumbers, cabbage, zucchini, jalapenos and other fresh vegetables.

Our Annual Plant sell is ongoing and orders are needed by the close of business (5:00pm) next Monday, October 26th, to our Office (1190 Athens Tech Road, Elberton). Plant pick-up is tentatively set for the first week in December. For more information or an online order option, message our Page or call the Office at 706-283-2037. 4-H'ers have order forms, which are also available at the Office. Students do earn CLOVER POINTS for plants sold! 🍀

Prices range from $12-$45. By purchasing from us, you support youth programming in Elbert County! We are extremely grateful for our long standing support from Elbert County, Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance! 💚 Not only does our local Farm Bureau financially support our program, they are also strong partners in education! We love offering after school and summer programming with our county Farm Bureau.

Sponsorship is important to our program. We must raise all monies spent on youth programming or pass the cost to students. If you’d like to sponsor Elbert County 4-H, let us know!

Elbert County 4-H is proud to be home of the historic IV Hulme 4-H Center granite marker, which includes a 4-H emblem! Drop your photos with our marker between now and October 11th to be entered in a drawing for 4-H swag! 🍀 Stop by and snap a picture!

This photo includes some of our Elbert County 4-H alumni who were at the Ribbon Cutting for the new Office. We are so grateful to Brad Burton of Burton Monument for moving our monument and giving it a much needed face lift. It’s beautiful!

Georgia 4-H offers students an opportunity to show goats, sheep, hogs, beef cattle, dairy cattle and horses. Elbert County 4-H is delighted to have a Goat Show Team this year! 🐐 🍀

Congratulations 🎉 to Kylie and Kade who were both division champions in Showmanship! 🏆 Showmanship is scored on how well the 4-H’er presents that animal to the judge throughout the class. These two have obviously worked hard this season as they are preparing for the State Market Goat Show later this month.
